When: 
July 4th. The official parade starts at noon and lasts about 1 hour.

Where:
Downtown Main Street; Julian.  From Julian High School to Frank Lane Park.

Pre-Parade Events:
 – 9:00  – Main Street will be closed to traffic. 

– 10:00 -11:45 (In front of Brick Building – old bank)
Patriotic Musical Presentations
Live entertainment

– 11:45 (Volunteers will be given time to get back to seats)
The audience will be invited to assist with unfurling an enormous American flag and kick off the parade with a procession down Main Street. 

Post-parade events:
– Barbecue, music, dancing at the American Legion (located on Washington Street)
– Julian Woman’s Club Historic Quilt Show at the Julian  Town Hall

Things you should know:
– Main Street closes to traffic at 9:00 am. Please follow signs and  traffic control officers to alternate  routes and the nearest parking lots.
– FREE Public toilets will be available next to the brick building and behind the Julian  Town Hall.
– The parade staging area on Cape Horn  and at the Julian Elementary School are for participants only.
